Jammu Kashmir: State will see cold temperatures in mountain areas. Plains will see around -1 – (-3)© in morning hrs whereas maximum 8-10© in Srinagar, Anatang areas.
Leh, Ladakh, Gulmarg, Kishtwar and mountain areas will see temperatures dipping upto -10 -(-15)© and maximum -1 – 3©.
Jan end, probably from 29-30 January, 1st widespread snowfall can be seen in kashmir including plain areas. Detailed forecast for that soon.
Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand North and NE areas of both states will see as same temperature as mountain areas of kashmir. Whereas city areas like Shimla, Haridwar, Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal will see 2©-17© on an average.
Entire N/NE areas of both states may see fresh snowfall in month end including areas, keylang, Tabo, Manali, Kullu, Kaza, Uttarkashi, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Chamoli, Pithoragarh.
